Are you super excited for halloween this October? Buffalo has so many cool and fun things to do for kids and families when autumn comes around! There are so many awesome events in Western New York that you will never be bored during spooky season. You should definitely grab your favorite candy bag and get ready to go on some really epic adventures with all your best friends and family members.

First off you can visit the Great Pumpkin Farm which is located right nearby Sanborn in Clarence to pick out huge orange pumpkins. There is a whole bunch of stuff to do once you go there. Like climbing up onto a large green tractor for a hayride or checking out all the funny little amusement rides outside of the place. The giant corn maze is probably the best part in my opinion cause you can get totally lost with your friends in it, and spend forever trying to guess where the way leads to the exit. Plus they sell super yummy fresh donuts and warm cider that tastes like sweet apples which is just totally amazing on a chilly autumn afternoon. I would rate this place a 8/10. Great to go to with your family, friends, significant other, and so on.

Next up on your fall bucket list you should check out the Buffalo Zoo for trick or treating and animal fun! They host special events like Boo at the Zoo where you get to wear your favorite spooky costume and show it off while walking past cute lions and bears. They also have an Enchanted Pumpkin Trail at night where illuminated jack-o-lanterns light up the walking paths. Kids a lot of the time run around getting free candy from different stations while enjoying all of the bright glowing lights everywhere around the zoo. This is quite the catch and It is definitely one of the coolest places to go when you want to get into the holiday spirit without getting too scared. I would rate this place a 7.5/10.
If you like scary stuff and want to get freaked out then Frightworld is the place you need to visit! Frightworld has five different haunted houses filled with creepy monsters and scary creatures hiding around every single corner waiting to make you scream really loud. It is so spooky that even big adults get scared when they go through the dark hallways. But if you have younger brothers or sisters they also do special lights-on kid events where nobody jumps out to scare you so everyone can still have fun.

If it starts raining or getting way too freezing cold out you can always head over to Explore and More Children’s Museum since they host indoor Halloween parties where you craft stuff and grab candy inside where its nice and warm. Have a safe and happy Halloween SUNY Niagara.
