A couple of games take place after that such as: a chess game April 7th in Honor Lounge and a roleplay game also April 7th in the Honors Lounge as well. The Chess game happens 10:00am-11:00 am, and the roleplay is happening 10:30am-11:30pm. The next main event happening is called Hope & Belonging: Navigating Uncertainty Together located in the conference room (D-104) April 7th.

Finally the last two events being sports games while one is Baseball and one is Softball both happening April 10th right after Dr.Holmes is sworn in as the President of SUNY Niagara. In the Softball game Holmes will be throwing the first pitch at 3pm to commemorate this momentous event.

All events are meant to bring students together to celebrate the milestone. All students are welcome to attend all events listed except for the Eve Dinner to bring cheer and excitement to this change.

Planning for all events have has been happening since December. According to the President’s Office, “A group of employees began having meetings for the event last December and have continued meeting biweekly ever since.  Now we are meeting weekly and sometimes twice a week because we are getting so close to the date.”. Jill Faddoul the college event planner has been assisted through Student Life to make this event and events as special as possible.
